Australian Industry & Defence Network

Western Australia (AIDN WA)

The Australian Industry & Defence Network of Western Australia is the peak body for businesses and related agencies within Western Australia's $620 million defence sector. AIDN WA is committed to representing the interests of WA's defence sector, and providing it with a collective voice.

The Network is an incorporated association entirely financed by members' annual fees, and exists to pursue the interests of its members and the industry as a whole.

It is a not-for-profit organisation and has no paid staff. An Executive Committee is elected at each Annual General Meeting and office bearers serve on a voluntary basis, often expending many unpaid hours for the benefit of members and the industry as a whole.

Our Objectives

AIDN WA has three primary objectives:

  • To act as a forum for industry to network, find new business opportunities, and generally benefit from interacting with people who have complementary interests.
  • To keep our members informed of what is happening in the Sector, including on Defence strategies, projects, policies and initiatives.
  • To act as the voice of Western Australia's Defence Sector with media, and other state and federal governments.
