Pearce RAAF Base Tour

AIDN-WA have arranged a tour of the Royal Australian Air Force Base Pearce in Bullsbrook, to take place on Tuesday 7 May 2019. This tour will enable members to better understand the operations, requirements and opportunities at the Base and engage with contractors working on site. The tour will include:

• A briefing by RAAF management on RAAF Base Pearce and RAAF Base Gingin functions and future projects
• A tour through No 2 Flying Training School
• Lockheed Martin PC21 aircraft maintenance support facilities
• BAE Systems Hawk Lead-in Fighter maintenance support facilities
• Airflite PC9 aircraft maintenance support new facilities
• A tour of the remaining base to view infrastructure and services including airfield, air movements areas, air traffic control, etc

Attendees will be required to arrive at the Chequers Hotel, 2543 Great Northern Highway in Bullsbrook for an 8:30am departure by bus to the Base. Plenty of parking is available at the Hotel and following conclusion of the tour at approximately 12:15pm the bus will return to the Hotel where attendees are encouraged to have lunch.
